9 Ways To Make Your Home Feel More Energized

When it comes to our homes, I would like to think that we all manage to keep the place clean and tidy. More so than others but that would be down to you and what you are comfortable with. Many of us won’t leave dirt and grime to add up. We will regularly clean our home. The great thing about physical dirt is you can see it. You know it’s there and then you will get cracking on clearing it up. The energy in your home is something completely different. We can often refer to good and bad energy but can’t see it. We can feel it. It can affect us in so many ways. From the way we do things; how we feel emotionally. To how we may handle a particular situation. Ideally, you would want your home to feel like a positive place. Some where that makes you feel good and happy from the inside out. This can have a lot to do with the energy levels in your home, and whether there is more bad than good energy lingering in your rooms. So I thought I would share with you nine ways to make your home feel more charged up and energized.

De-clutter and cut down on the technology

One way to make your home feel more energized is to de-clutter. Removing a build up of things we know longer have any use for can be quite fulfilling. There is a common term which says “messy house, messy mind” and that has a lot to do with the energy that it dispels. So Take some time to look round your home and have a good clear out.

Bad energy can also gather because of the sheer amount of technology we have in our homes these days. TV’s, computers, laptops, games consoles. That is just the beginning. While it is difficult to rid yourself of those things fully. Our lives tend to work around technology these days. You may be able to clear certain rooms of it. This means you could create a new space which is a more relaxing environment to sit in.

Add salt to the floor before you sweep or vacuum

Salt has long been known as a substance that can absorb bad energy. So if you feel like your home needs a cleanse, which you should often do, then sprinkle sea salt on the floor is a good way to do it. Make sure it reaches the corners and get’s under the furniture. Leave it to settle for a few hours and then sweep or vacuum everything up. Make sure you empty the collected salt in a bin outside to rid your home of the bad energy vibes.

It is a softly lit salt lamp that is a natural source of clean, fresh air. It is great at cleansing your home. They also attract water. So they have an incredible ability to remove dust, pollen and other impurities from the air. They give off something called negative ions. Which means they increase energy levels and diffuse any other energies within your room.

Something so simple can have a huge effect on how your home feels. Playing uplifting music as loud as you can is one of them. It’s not just about what you play. Think about the feng shui in your room

Feng Shui is a chinese system of laws that work out the best places to put things. This is down to the spacial orientation and arrangement about the flow of energy it creates. Some arrangements will create a bad flow while others create a good one. There are simple guides online to get you started if you are unsure of how to work it out.

They also happen to absorb negative energy, which is great for keeping the levels positive in your home. It would be a good idea to let your houseplants out in the garden every once in a while and is open to natural rain water. Bringing them back in re-charges them ready to carry on with their job. They look fantastic but have such a great purpose as well.
