Revlon Baby Stick in Tahitian

Posted On June 21, 2013

When the head makeup artist of Revlon sent me this Revlon Baby Stick in Tahitian (P425.00), I got very excited because I am a huge fan of blushers. One of the main reason why is because I have a fair skin. Ever since my high school days I am already into using such because it gives more “life and color” on my face. Right after receiving this Revlon Baby Stick, I immediately tried it and to be honest, I was very disappointed in this Revlon product.

When I opened the tube, I thought that it was very pigmented because it peachy shade looks very strong but when I applied it on the back of my hand to test it’s almost non-existent. Aside from that, I also found this product not an ideal cheek blush as it it has a tendency to make your cheeks look too shiny and feel quite greasy. It’s staying power is doesn’t last too, compared to other lip and cheek blushers out there. As for the lips, it does feel exactly just like a regular “plain” lip balm but in order for it’s color to be visible you need to apply it heavily over and over again.

So all in all, if you are planning of purchasing your own Revlon Baby Stick, you better test it thoroughly first. Coming from a person that has a fair skin, this one is not ideal for those who have medium-dark skin tone as the pigmentation of this is very subtle. For it’s suggested retail price of P425.00 this one is definitely not worth the hype. I apologise for a thoroughly negative review about this product, I know that some would agree and some would not on what I said but all opinions expressed are based on my own experience while trying this product.
