The “no makeup look” is probably the one of the most famous makeup routine that girls do. It gives someone certain freshness and a good aura especially because it brings out one’s natural beauty. To achieve the “no makeup look,” here are 6 easy-to-follow steps plus some tips and product options that you may use.

1. PREPARE YOUR SKIN
A clean face makes cosmetic products blend easily. Start with your usual skin care routine: facial wash, toner, and moisturizer.

2. CONCEAL AND HIGHLIGHT
For a fresh and flawless look, conceal your blemishes and highlight certain areas of your face like your under eye area, bridge of your nose, and your cupid’s bow. I recommend using Mac’s mineralize concealer and a great alternative for that is ELF's Tone Correcting Concealer.

TIP: choose at least 2 shades lighter than your skin tone when purchasing for a concealer.

3. BB CREAMS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND
For a natural looking makeup, BB creams are the way to go. It gives the perfect coverage that a liquid foundation provides plus it is very lightweight when worn. If blended well, it can give your face an airbrushed look. I highly recommend Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Beauty Balm because it blends and works well with all skin tone. A good alternative for that are Bobbi Brown BB Cream Broad Spectrum with SPF 35 and Garnier BB cream because it has shade selections from light to medium-deep.

4. FRAME YOUR FACE
A makeup look is never complete if you did not frame your face. For natural looking brows, I recommend using a brow powder and the brands that I recommend are ELF, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Milani Cosmetics.

5. LOCK AND SEAL
To set your face and to help your makeup last all day, use a powder that matches your skin tone. I recommend using Revlon's Age Defying with DNA Advantage Powder Makeup because it doesn’t make your face look cakey and no retouches are needed after a couple of hours. A great alternative to this is Jewel Pop Cosmetics’ loose mineral foundation.

6. MOISTURIZE YOUR LIPS
To avoid chapped lips, always use a lip moisturizer. Using a tinted lip balm can also give you natural looking lips if you don’t want to use a lipstick. I highly recommend Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm because, not only it is very affordable, but also you can choose from a wide range of colors. It’s also a trusted brand when it comes to lip moisturizers because it lives up to its promise to give you soft, natural, healthy lips.
